In the beginning a blissful ignorance hung over the Earth:
And when the woman saw that the tree would make one wise, she took of the fruit...
Religion as a Philosophy
A belief is only an opinion unless supported,

The Drd4 Society seeks not to deny a spiritually based belief, but to understand it:
What if the message of the Disciple’s were viewed as philosophical renderings offering acquired wisdom to serve not an unquestionable. hard determined, omnipresent, authority, but to serve the ultimate “Miracle” “Mankind” ?….
This hypothesis while limited in this discussion to the concept of Christianity applies to most organized spiritually based religions… As they all seem to share the same template… “Unquestioning “Subjects” serving an “Unquestionable, Authoritarian, Authority”….
Example: Thomas Aquinas’ theory of: “The Proofs” and “Hard Determinism”:
The Proofs: … If everything is caused by something, and nothing can be caused by itself… Then every cause is the result of a previous cause… So there must be an uncaused, first cause, which is understood to be God…
Hard determinism:…. If every event has a cause, then no one could have done anything except what they did.. If no one could have done anything except what they in fact did do, then no one can ever act freely…
While it may be true that motion in a vacuum may creates perpetual motion, and one can speculate about who or what created that “First” motion…. What’s left out of that Thomas of Aquinas theory, is the story of “EVE” ….
Could the story of “Eve”, the Mitochondrial Mother, be seen as a parable or metaphor to explain “Free Will” ?….
Could that be, the Drd4 gene?

Who was the curious ‘One’ of the original two?

Could the story of Eve be seen as a parable or metaphor to explain Free Will ? What made Eve curious?
Could it be the Drd4 gene?
As the science shows that gene does appear to be hereditary…
Ever wonder why the “DRD4” gene, scientifically known as the Curiosity gene, is inherently contained within the genome of only half of the world’s population?
Again Who was the curious ‘One’ of the original two?

The DRD4 Society “Guided by the Elders’ sense of social Inclusiveness aims to contribute to the evolution of society, ensuring that the compass remains pointed north and the trajectory of societal progress continues charting from a lower left to a higher right.” Seeking to, through reasoned enlightenment, Remove the ‘CULT‘ from Culture, Making Reason and Logic Relevant, again… While offering a platform for like-minded individuals to engage with ideas that resonate with the Society’s ethos of reasoned and logical discourse…

The Spectrum of Thought and Behavior
Behavioral science has created the concept of “The Spectrum” to classify and categorize thoughts and behavior
That spectrum much like a guitar has a low E and a high E, but the music is found in between. Some, like a spider that restricts itself to just one corner of its web, accepts their assigned limits within that spectrum. Becoming just another brick in the wall, enslaved by unquestionable, indoctrinating dogma.
Others, while residing on middle C, freely transcend the many and varied layers and strands of that Spectrum (life), bound only by the natural restraints of logic, reason, and integrity, mindful of the obligation to keep the arrow of that Compass pointing ‘True North’ and the graph of ones life charting from a lower left to a higher right…

"Understanding the “Why”
The 'Water Bearer
source: King James: Luke 22:10
A new 'ERA' is upon us:
“Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there will be a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him wherein he goeth.” source: Luke 22:10
Again, if seen as a metaphor. could the message of “Luke 22:10” be seen as identifying a man, who much like Eve cast aside the cult of culture and who also processed that quality of: “Free Will”…
Sometimes, culture can limit our thinking and make us follow rules that do not satisfy the rules of reason or logic,
Examples:
Plato’s Cave: People mistake the appearance of what is in front of them as reality… However, senses and perception is not knowledge at all, but opinion… It is only through reasoning that one is able to pursue knowledge,,,
The blind men and the Elephant: In Buddhism, the tale is used as an example of the uncertainty of human perception, a demonstration of the principle that what we perceive to be true and factual is, in fact, empty of inherent reality.
When we use facts, reason, and logic, we can think for ourselves and make decisions based on factual context not from a limited perception of unquestionable dogma. We then can serve not a “Cultural” God, but God’s Creation…
